About Me

Welcome to my website! My name is Yana, I am an abstract fluid artist born in Ukraine and raised in Cyprus. I have been living in London for over 10 years before I decided to relocate to beautiful Luxembourg and discovered my passion for fluid art.

I have been painting for over six years and love to experiment with new technics and finding exciting ways to release my creativity. I find inspiration mostly from traveling and in the natural world.

Growing up on a beautiful Mediterranean island, the myriad shades of blue for example has imparted a profound fascinating with colours. For me colours and the way they mix and flow is a form of meditation. It is an escape from reality to a place where I can express myself without any constraints.

I have always felt a connection to colours and movement. Both combined connect and transport you to different states of mind and project different moods. This is also what inspires me to create, as fluid art has a transcendental and meditative quality to me. It represents a conversation with the self as well as the other.
